Alexandra Horowitz
Alexandra Horowitz is a Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Associate Professor at Barnard College. She graduated from The University of Pennsylvania and earned her Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego. Her research specialty is dog cognition and she has written several best-selling books including Being a Dog: Following the Dog into a World of Smell. In her written work, Horowitz compellingly describes the behaviors and patterns of dogs based on careful observation and science.
