Sharon Vatsky

Sharon Vatsky is the former Director of Education, School and Family Programs at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum where she was responsible for the planning and facilitation of programs and interpretive materials for students, teachers, and families. She is the author of Museum Gallery Activities, a handbook for museum educators.  Vatsky has conducted workshops for teachers and museum educators in Hong Kong, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Spain, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, and many parts of the United States. Prior to joining the Guggenheim in 2000, she was Curator of Education at the Queens Museum of Art in New York. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in arts education, museum education, and visual arts.
